Basement, Columbus |

We've never played Columbus before, so we're well up for a bit exploring before the show. First, we eat. It goes dreadfully. Barry sends back two different cuts of Bison for being undercooked. If you know Barry, he's a food maniac. Naturally, he's gutted. When we're about to head deeper into town, Baz also notices that there is a show happening behind the venue we're in, in an outdoor space. He then discovers that a Pink Floyd tribute band are playing and decides to stick around and watch them instead of coming with me for a bit of ‘culture'. So while I go Art Gallery, him, and the rest of the lads all go ‘The Floyd', and enjoy chillaxing with a beer to ‘Wish You Were Here' etc.
The Basement has a really unusual ‘pit' area that is about 1 metre square. It fits around 4 people in it. The gig feels weird because of it. Small club, small pit, I guess. |
