World Cup opening ceremony. I’m having a bit of that, by the way. Fortunate enough to
get a telly in our dressie, we can all watch the first game before the doors opening.
And there are some cracking goals, to boot!
We always seem to do alright in Birmingham, and tonight it really kicks off. The show is
top notch and it’s really enjoyable to see a crowd really go for it without any hint of
violence or slobbery. Two thumbs up for Brum, like.
Tonight seems to certainly be the hottest show of the tour (on-stage anyway), and we all
finish the gig like liquid versions of ourselves. Nice, I know.
We meet some sound people outside after the show, and I get given a few demo’s by
some decent bands. It’s only early-doors, but we need to leave for Cardiff…. |
