When we rolled off the bus this morning, the last thing we expected to stumble across was a vegan café, but we did, and it made for an awesome breakfast. There was a pool table inside too, so a few of us were able to scramble back a sense of pride after last night's demolition at the hands of Jaff's clan.
Salt Lake is a beautiful city, surrounded by mountains, making you feel a little like you're inside a bowl. It's amazing weather, perfect for enjoying a little solitary walk before the show. I get back to the bus about twenty minutes before we're due on, and find Barry and Jaff immersed in ‘The Godfather'. How gangsta. It finishes as Harvey (Tour Manager) walks in and says ‘You're on'. As we're on our way inside, Barry turns to me and says, ‘I feel Mafia'd up for tonight now. It's going to be a good one'. It was. |
