The air-conditioning on our bus has broken. What great luck we have with this. (See UK Diary entries). Pity it's 90 degrees outside, and it feels even worse indoors. I think I've heard everyone on the bus complain about feeling ill at separate intervals today. For us lot, it's throat trouble. Some people are watching ‘The Mummy' at the front of the bus - Dave Byars (Lights) has purposefully hidden the remote in a perverse game of ‘Let Me Try Your Patience'. Forget Big Brother, if Channel4 really want to see people lose it, get the cameras on a bus in some boiling heat, stick a terrible film on the telly, and ‘lose' the remote. Just watch the fireworks.
Anyway, we get off the bus in SF at about 9pm, and my throat feels like I've stuffed an whole Orange down it. Excellent. Jaff's back is apparently knacking him as well. The Futuremen need some sleep... |
