Fresh from my pseudo-hippy adventures the night before, I promise myself to squeeze the shoes on tonight. There's a film-crew taping the show, and it's the first night that a lot of the Vagrant crowd can make it out to see us. There's no way the show's going to be immortalized and for me to be a barefoot dancing pixie on that stage. No, tonight it's time for the hardcore bastards that we all think we are to come out and play. The Fonda is a good room to play in, and Los Angeles, despite it's plasticy reputation, is extremely reliable for a great crowd. Plenty of familiar faces, too.
The throat is getting better.
Another excellent thing about LA is that we're staying at this hotel called ‘The Roosevelt', which played host to the first ever Academy Awards - proper Hollywood history for you, that is. |
