| I love being in Austin - especially when it's not during SXSW Festival. It's a wonderful city, in the sense that there are hundreds of music venues, and culturally speaking, it's a long way off the typical Texas stereotype. It is also home to the largest ‘Wholefoods' in all of America. If you don't know ‘Wholefoods', then it is an enormous health-food supermarket. For vegetarians like Jaff and I, it is one of few culinary experiences we look forward to in the US. It is like stepping into a little world where everywhere you look there's something dead tasty you want to pile into a Tupperware box and run back to the bus with. In this case it's Balsamic Beetroot and Kung Pao Tofu for me, and Watermelon Juice and Two-Bite Brownies for Jaff. Baz tries to hold out for Fish Taco's, but ‘Wholefoods' gets a stranglehold on him too - he's a fan of Aloe Vera juice, oddly. |
