Everybody (myself included) gets up a little worse-for-wear this morning after some late-night shenanigans in Las Vegas. I went out with Jaff, Paul (Merch), and Andrew (Front Of House Sound). We went first to Caesar's Palace, and then on to The Flamingo, where we stayed until the early hours of the morning playing Blackjack. Andrew was the only one that left with a profit, and as we stumbled back on the bus, we were given a little bit of grief from Russ the Bus Driver over wasting our time.
It was a Festival today in San Diego, and to be honest, it was a little odd. We played at 6pm, so it meant we had some time to hang out with our pals Bloc Party afterwards, but the gig itself would have been far more rewarding had it not been for the ridiculously oppressive sunshine - us pasty Brits have a hard time with US outdoor shows! |
