We played Webster Hall on our last tour of the US - in the 80's it was called The Ritz, and pretty much any band you can think of played there. It's an early show tonight, apparently because there is an amateur burlesque show on after us in the downstairs part of the club. We won't be going - instead we're making haste for Boston in order to be there bright and early to catch the England game. Everyone's being extra cautious in their preparations, and we've put aside ten hours for a four-hour drive. A little extreme, you might think - but it needs to be done.
I manage to make it down to the International Center Of Photography to catch an exhibition by photojournalist, Weegee. There are some great shots of the city during the 40's and 50's - and of the criminals that worked it. |
